• The quality and cost of the final translation or publication correlates directly with the quality and format of the source materials. For the best quality and smallest workload, please provide files in original format. Pictures and PDF files are usually more labour-intensive than items such as DTP files or text files. Naturally, we are able to process materials in any format.
• Written materials are always made by people for people, and translating text always involves interpretation, competence and experience. Every writer’s style is unique. We believe that our primary task is to convey the message of the text in the target language. Noomus values lasting customer relationships and therefore makes an effort to learn the customer’s ways and to develop a suitable, uniform style.
• Quite often the source text or image can contain specialist information of which only the customer has in-depth knowledge. This is why we strive to check certain terms and concepts with our customers’ contact persons. By providing quick and accurate answers to our terminological queries, you can contribute to the timely completion of the delivery.

Sending material to us
Although we are happy to received files as email attachments, we recommend using a file transfer service or FTP, especially in the case of large and/or confidential files. Noomus has a WeTransfer account for this purpose.
For our contract customers we also offer a Noomus Extranet account for file management and project work.
