General information collected in the services
Noomus’ online services collect visitors’ IP addresses and page impressions for general statistics and service development purposes. This data is treated as confidential material.
Information provided and received during registration or during business
In order to access Noomus’s extranet service, remote users need to provide some data for registration. This data includes only personal information that is required to produce the service, such as name, company, position, and contact information. This data is not shared with or handed over to third parties.
The contact and invoicing information provided by customers is stored safely as confidential material. Noomus does not use customer information as a public or other reference without permission from its customers.
Online service use and limitations
As a starting point, the information and user IDs required to log-in to online and data services are personal. Noomus can prevent the use of individual user IDs or the entire service if it considers this necessary for reasons of data protection. Users may not share personal user IDs with third parties. The user must inform Noomus immediately if user IDs, a password or comparable information has fallen into the hands of an external party.
Safe delivery and storage of material
Noomus recommends the use of secure data communications channels, especially in the case of confidential material. Although Noomus does accept material in e-mail attachments, an unprotected e-mail account is not considered secure. Noomus recommends file encryption or the use of a SSL protected service. Material delivered to Noomus should be transferred using our extranet service. Our new customers can request a user ID from our coordinators. We are happy to provide advice on how confidential material can be transferred using secure channels.
Limitation of risk
Noomus is not responsible for any damages resulting from insecure data transfer channels, external links, public material, or poor service availability.
